Onward NRV 2019 Regional Impact Awards

Virginia’s New River Valley – Onward NRV delivered the 2019 Regional Impact Award to 5 companies in the New River Valley at our 2019 Annual Dinner.

The Regional Impact Award recognizes and celebrates those companies who are investing and creating jobs in the NRV. Over the past year, these award winners have had a significant impact on the New River Valley by announcing 1,462 new jobs and $405.7 MM in new capital investment. The companies represented information technology, unmanned systems, and manufacturing industries.

The Regional Impact Award recipients are:
  • Ozmo – 40 jobs, $202,500 investment
  • Torc – 55 jobs, $2 MM investment
  • 1901 Group – 580 jobs, $3 MM investment
  • Inorganic Ventures – 10 jobs, $500,000 investment
  • Volvo Trucks – 777 jobs, $400 MM investment

    Virginia’s New River Valley: Virginia’s New River Valley is an eclectic mix of interconnected small towns that each offer their own unique vibe and appeal.
