Onward NRV Attends NRCC Career Fairs

Onward New River Valley recently attended two career fairs sponsored by New River Community College. The NRCC Spring Resource and Career Fair was held on April 6th at the NRV Mall campus and the New River Valley Job Fair Expo was held on April 20th at the Christiansburg Recreation Center.

Both events were well attended and gave the Onward NRV team the opportunity to promote regional employers and current job openings through the Virginia’s New River Valley Job Board.

In addition to enlightening prospective graduates about the benefits of living and working in the New River Valley, Samantha Livesay, Director of Business Engagement, and Ian Littlejohn, Marketing Manager, were able to network with many of the region’s top employers within the sectors of IT and advanced manufacturing.

Onward NRV regularly attends career fairs at New River Community CollegeVirginia Tech, and Radford University, and is committed to helping attract and retain talent in Virginia’s New River Valley.
