Onward NRV Celebrates MFG Day 2020

Onward New River Valley recently celebrated Manufacturing Day 2020 with a two-week digital marketing campaign. The campaign took place from September 28th to October 9th.

Onward NRV’s goal for the campaign was to celebrate the impact the manufacturing industry has on the economic vitality of the region. In addition, the organization wanted to raise awareness about types of manufacturing jobs available in the NRV and dispel common misconceptions that people have about manufacturing. Onward NRV promoted three videos about manufacturing on the Virginia’s New River Valley social media channels.

Over the course of the two-week campaign:

• The videos reached 130,111 people
• 91,770 people viewed the videos
• 831 people liked, shared, or clicked on a video
• 251 people visited TheNRV.org/MFG website to learn more about manufacturing in Virginia’s New River Valley
