Onward NRV Creates Virtual Tours for NRV Sites & Buildings

Onward NRV has created virtual tours for many of the available sites and buildings in Virginia’s New River Valley. The videos, which were created in collaboration with Nightfire Productions, highlight the unique aspects of each site or building. These include building square footage, site acreage, availability of utilities, and proximity to interstates.

The COVID-19 pandemic prevented many site selectors and prospective businesses from traveling to explore sites and buildings for their economic development projects. This virtual tour project allowed Onward NRV to proactively market the region’s sites and buildings through digital and print advertising even when travel was not possible.

The following sites or buildings were included in the virtual tour project:

• Falling Branch Corporate Park, Phase II
• Floyd Regional Commerce Center
• Plymouth Building (no longer available)
• Riverbend Building (no longer available)
• ShaeDawn Park

One of the goals of the Onward NRV’s five-year strategy is to attract and grow industry in the region to stimulate new jobs and investment. These videos will be beneficial marketing tool while Onward NRV continues the organization’s work toward achieving this goal.
