Onward New River Valley was recently featured on the A.M. Hodge Podge Radio Show on WRAD. Charlie Jewell, Executive Director of Onward NRV, joined the hosts Mark Tapp and Keith Weltens at the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center’s amphitheater to discuss the organization’s five-year economic development strategy for the region.

Charlie described how the implementation of the five-year strategy continues to be more important than ever in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The group also discussed the effects of the pandemic on employment, the job market, and workforce development in Virginia’s New River Valley.
