2019 Spring Luncheon Recap

Onward NRV set another record with 109 attendees at the Onward Spring Luncheon last week! Held at New River Community College, the event was sponsored by First Bank & Trust, an Onward NRV investor.

The keynote speaker was Dr. Pat Huber, NRCC President. Dr. Huber discussed the flourishing programs at NRCC, the future of the school, and how NRCC aligns with Onward NRV’s vision for Virginia’s New River Valley.

The event also served as a celebration for reaching 106% of the Onward 2023 fundraising campaign goal. Onward NRV is incredibly grateful for the participation of the the campaign co-chairs and presented each with an award for their dedication. More photos can be found on the Onward NRV Facebook page.

The program also featured a welcome from Board Chairman Ed Lawhorn and quarterly update from Executive Director Charlie Jewell.

The quarterly luncheons are a great way to stay up-to-date on what’s happening in Virginia’s New River Valley and at Onward NRV. They’ve also become a great learning and networking opportunity for our investors and guests.
