Onward NRV Hosts the Fall 2022 Tech/IT Leaders Summit

On October 6, 2022, technology industry leaders from around the New River Valley gathered for a Tech/IT leaders summit. During the summit, guest speakers Amy Baldwin Efird and Margaret Archer from Exelaration held an interactive round table discussion on the retention and recruitment of talent in the world of hybrid work environments.

To help businesses in the NRV grow and stay competitive, pain points need to be identified and addressed. Amy and Margaret skillfully led the conversation as attendees talked about the challenges of the remote and hybrid work environments they are currently facing in their organizations. Both challenges and solutions were discussed and attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and receive valueable feedback from the guest speakers.

Twice a year, Onward NRV hosts Tech/IT Leaders’ Summits to create a forum to engage industry leaders and encourage collaboration around common challenges and opportunities. The summits are part of the organization’s five-year strategy to promote economic development in the NRV and support the continued growth of the tech sector in Virginia’s New River Valley.
