Onward New River Valley participated in the Radford University Center for Career & Talent Development 2021 Virtual Career Week during the week of February 22 – 26, 2021.
During the week-long virtual event, Director of Business Engagement James Cabler and Marketing Manager Katie Boswell hosted five information sessions to promote Jobs in Virginia’s New River Valley to participating students. During the sessions, they shared the benefits of living and working in the region as well as information about Onward NRV’s Job Board (TheNRV.org/jobs).
In addition to hosting information sessions, James and Katie participated in several of the Center for Career & Talent Development’s panel discussions. 33 Radford University students engaged with the team through either the information sessions or panel discussions. All participating students will have access to recordings of the panel discussions, which gives Onward NRV the potential to reach 250 total Radford University students through the Career Week event.
