Onward NRV Video for Livability Initiative

The NRV Livability Initiative, which was hosted in early March by the NRV Regional Commission, consisted of speed round reporting from local organizations and individuals that help make Virginia’s New River Valley a good place to live and work.

Onward NRV staff was unable to attend in person (due to a conflict with the Site Consultant Tour) but Director of Marketing & Communications Abigail Hammack provided a webinar-style video in her absence.

The video focuses on Onward NRV and what the organization does. It also contained an overview Goals 1 and 2 of the 5-YR Strategy, with a focus on the Industry Hub Initiative.

Onward NRV: Onward NRV is a public/private, regional economic development organization whose mission is to attract and retain world class jobs, investment, and talent in Virginia’s New River Valley. It’s also a movement where leaders from business, government, and higher education work together to promote the economic vitality of the region.
